It is mostly a waste of energy. We need fundamental changes in how voters choose candidates. There should never be a scenario where having more choices (more candidates) leads to a worse outcome, yet that’s a common result. Trump’s 2016 election is a prime example, but there are plenty of other smaller instances. I believe Ranked-Choice Voting (RCV) is the most feasible and best chance to make a lasting impact on the power structure of the two political parties.
Unfortunately political parties have a foothold in the election system. Its controlled from a national level instead of a state level. Regardless, corporations should not be allowed to contribute any amount to politicians or political parties. Additionally any money raised should only be allowed to be spent in the state it was raised.
Elections are administered at the state and local levels. Anyone unhappy with the two parties’ hold on power or the limitations in choice should support local election reform to implement rcv. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ranked-choice_voting_in_the_United_States?wprov=sfti1
I hope they burn Trump, Cruz, and the rest. https://www.cnn.com/2023/06/23/poli...-electors-immunity-testimony-jan-6/index.html Exclusive: Special counsel trades immunity for fake elector testimony as Jan 6 probe heats up
If Trump were smart, he would be getting behind. What’s going on in Russia right now because it seems Biden is taking his early nap.
I looked at Trump's website to see his tacky MAGA gear for schmucks. That Loser now has a MAGA hat with 45-47 on the side. He's lost the plot. That kook is living in a state of delusion.
It never hurts to remind Texans which of their elected leaders tried to decertify the last election, in a desperate attempt to keep Trump in power. These are not people of integrity. Here are the Texans who voted to object to certifying the election results on Jan. 6, 2020. Sen. Ted Cruz Rep. Louie Gohmert of Tyler Rep. Pat Fallon of Sherman Rep. Lance Gooden of Terrell The late Rep. Ron Wright of Arlington Rep. August Pfluger of San Angelo Rep. Ronny Jackson of Amarillo Rep. Randy Weber of Friendswood Rep. Pete Sessions of Waco Rep. Jodey Arrington of Lubbock Rep. Troy Nehls of Richmond Rep. Roger Williams of Austin Rep. Michael Burgess of Lewisville Rep. Michael Cloud of Victoria Rep. John Carter of Round Rock Rep. Brian Babin of Woodville Rep. Beth Van Duyne of Irving
- The build even more border wall part cracked me up. Remember how his cronies funneled so much of that money into their own pockets the last time, and built a tiny section of wall? I'm all for trying to end child trafficking, but as we all know, it was ok when Trump's buddy Epstein offered him 13 year olds to have his way with at his man cave, where girls were groomed to be toys for the boys. I'm all against Communists and radical right or left parties. It's interesting though how he says he will order "his" government to deny entry to ALL communists and Marxists. What about Fascists?
