Exactly. I used to love the Original. Then I read somewhere how many calories were in it. Never again. How do they pack so many calories into something anyway? Has everything in the sandwich been fried in butter?

 

This is precisely the reason I will only eat Subway veggie delight sandwiches.

Most other sandwich shops pack their sandwiches with fat and calories and crap.

a 6" veggie delight has only 250 calories and 3 grams of fat. Awesome.

 

Exactly where does the "delight" come in to play?

 

the fact that it is vegetarian and has little calories and fat for the punch it packs.

I find tremendous delight in that fact.

But that's the main reason I hate going to places like Quiznos. Too much for stuff you can probably make at home cheaper.

I used to eat at Zeros all the time. They are pretty good from what I remember. Anyone remember Thunderclound on Alabama they were pretty good too, kinda like subway but better. I was disappointed when they closed.
Someone mentioned Kahns in the Village, they make good sandwiches there too.

few locations by my house are ABSOLUTELY dead and have been dead for quite a few months.

 

I hated that place. If any sandwich shop needs to go out of business that is it.

I loved Schlotzsky's and wish they had some here. I guess its what you grow up eating.

 

love subway myself... used to hate them

dunno why , i guess one day i tried subway again and liked their sandwiches once more.

subway and quizno's I'd say are the places I usually head to at the lunch hour.

 

honey bourbon chicken sandwich at quizno's is good
