TRADE FOR HIM NOW STONE. DO IT NOW DAMNIT NOW!

Even if we draft Amen, Tyus can start first while Amen can come off the bench while improving his jumpshot. Then we don't need to spend $30m+ on an overpaid PG this summer.

Or better yet, we can actually draft a wing that can shoot.

”…a trade for Tyus Jones is not a likely option for this front office.” — Clutch

…Opposite of what this FO looks for. It’d take an Ime step in for them to give up assets for Tyus Jones. — C

Memphis will have to add a 1st round pick in a deal! Maybe even 2

So does Clutch have a source saying the Rockets aren't interested, or is he just speculating based upon the FO's past behavior? Because there's a big difference between the one and the other.

If "this front office" does not want to do it, we need to get rid of "this front office".

Tyus is the league record holder, not just leader, in ast/to ratio.

Dude protects the ball, brings it up to Sengun, spots up, hits threes at a decent rate.

    It's the perfect fit.

I'd rather do #20 + KJ/Tate for Tyus than #20 + KJ/Tate for #10 (if either of those options is on the table)

We can give them KPJ to be the head honcho and take all these shots.

You beat me to it. What coach can’t use a 7:1 ast to TO ratio?

They can trade for one or sign one. They have plenty of options. Tyus moving on to a bigger role at some point was always a given.

but wouldn't they just keep him for the 1st half of the season though? especially if all they're getting is some of our trash

Who says they’re getting trash. Rockets aren’t even a reported option. Cf’s is just passing the idea along which acquiring him would be a great idea. They have plenty of options. If they get a deal they like they can accept. If not, keep playing. If they sign a backup pg in the coming weeks, that would be a sign towards them more open to moving him

Didn't think he would be available. Stone needs to earn his keep. Much better option at his price. Give up Tate and KMJ if necessary. Keep pick 20 for the trade up to 10 scenario.

I had him and Aquaman as part of a package with Rox in the trade thread.
