You are wrong. Getting rid of Malosky and bringing her in was a huge mistake. This board has the most die-hard Rockets fans that there are. Where is there any support for her? Do you understand that people would rather turn down the volume or turn off the tv during halftime? What does that tell you? SHE IS THAT BAD. There is no maybe about it. Instead making us endure her "rising to the challenge" every freaking game, why don't you just hire someone who can do the job? (and not fire someone who could) Face the facts. The damage is done. She sucks. Nobody likes her as a studio host. Please fix it. Thanks.
I understand your position and I would say that the people on this board (myself included) who are bashing CC might be in the wrong... EXECEPT that it is my understanding that Lisa Malosky was fired, err... no renewed for the job, and I find that to be distastful. Lisa was a great voice and face for the team and an outstanding embodimnet of women sports broadcasters should strive to be. She almost seemed to transend her gender and instead of being just a good woman broadcaster she was a good sports broadcaster. If she had walked for a desk job at ABC sport or even ESPN (and Coop had been a replacement) then you could tell us to cut her some slack. BUT, to simply replace her with an inferior analyst who happened to be a former WNBA player, is wrong so tell us we have the wrong story here - or accept that we are going to blast about this for a while. (btw - I won't even go into the "we got next," WNBA needs-more marketing conspiracy theory that I believe could have had some influence on this decision) edit - I just saw that MR. I was saying Boo-urns. On Lisa Maloski: What happened to her since she left? Did she find another gig doing sports? I'll remind everyone here, while we're on the subject, that LM got a lot of heat on the BBS as well when she was on TV. Now that you've had a big dallop of Cooper, anyone want to apologize for the criticisms of Maloski?
JV, I gave her some greif but only about her large smile. I enjoyed her professionalism and articulation. I did not like her glowing attitude. But now that we got CC, man I miss LM a lot. DD

Lisa Maloski, gets my vote. If She was going to be replaced it should have been by someone that was better. Bringing Her back would correct a mistake that was made.
