Some News on NBA Street Vol. 3 (Pics of Francis/T-Mac)

Wow... this game looks pretty good visually. I love the lighting effects and the detail of the players and courts. Hopefully the gameplay is basically new features added to the same great play on the past two. Passing off the head of a defender for an alley-oop is something I've grown quite fond of while playing NBA Ballers and I expect Street to make passing of the head of an opponent an art form. Maybe the dunk system will be similiar to the system they seem to be putting into NBA Live. Online play should make this game a must for most NBA fans.

I wonder if the NBA Street that will be on the PSP will be basically this version with a few tweaks or a completely different version. Seeing this detail on a handheld would be nice along with the gameplay that NBA Street offers.

You can do the pass off a defender's head for an alleyoop in Street 2 as well as the off the backboard. Both are possible.

 

If it doesn't have Hakeem and online roster updates then I am not getting it. Make a stand!

 

You're probably right. I haven't played Street 2 in so long, I couldn't remember if you could do it or not. All I could remember was just the normal "off the head" trick. It just looked pretty cool in NBA Ballers.

I still hope that EA makes it an art form.

(hehe...America's youth still talking about passing it off of heads for alley-oops and ankle breakers while the US team struggles against fundamentally sound players.)
