Now that's pretty dam funny...............as much as I think he is a sh** stain to america, I think he kept them to show off to the pheasants who flock to him like a cult leader. At a later date would it shock me if we find out he used some to get a better deal for one of his golf courses over seas, not one bit........

Are the maga folks falling for this or is it they can't do a bit of research to see that this is complete BS................I think the reality is that they just dont care, they will follow him right off the proverbial cliff. I guess we have this to look forward to for the next year

Partisanship is the most important thing. It’s not about principle, ethics, or any of that stuff it’s about fighting the other side.

We see it even here all then time from people who say they hate Trump and don’t support him yet go to great lengths to defend him and rarely if ever criticize him.

It wasn't a raid, it was a small operation to get the docs back - and no one would have known if Trump didn't whine to the media and make it bigger than it was....the guy can't get out of his own way.

**** him....I hope he enjoys prison......

...the DOJ, FBI, NARA and every other letter of the alphabet let this orange doofus harangue around and play peek-a-boo and hide-and-seek with this stuff for more than a year, without telling the rest of the world what was going on...

...one reason, I imagine, so as not to freak out however many international allies we might have left after the Donald soiled the high chair...

...and two, so as not to look just as bumbling and inane as this orange oaf looks, having let this nonsense go on for as long as it did...

Again, the Donald was never about saying or doing anything that wasn't going to benefit himself in some way.

And practically everybody else be damned.

...or jailed for seditious conspiracy and treason...
    ...or disbarred from practicing law...
...or dead from a viral contagion that shouldn't have caused the number of deaths it caused, because proving where it came from was more important than stopping it from wreaking havoc...

...(which reminds me: since that COVID stuff was a hoax, can all those crisis actors who pretended to die from that fake virus get unburied and get back their freedom to shamble around like all the other walking-dead mindless morons?)...

It's not like anybody would notice them, I mean...;)

A top House Republican broke from his GOP colleagues on Sunday by saying the charges against former President Donald Trump for allegedly mishandling classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago resort after leaving office are serious.

Rep. Mike Turner of Ohio, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, labeled the allegations “of grave concern,” as his fellow House Republicans say the case is a politicization of the Justice Department.

“I can tell you from having looked at both of those documents, I have grave concerns about both of those type of documents being out in an unsecured place,” “Both of them included details of national security issues that should not have been outside of a controlled environment.”

I could be alright with a president commuting Trump's sentence after he's convicted. I'm also totally cool with him actually serving a sentence, but I don't think his suffering is as important as the official recognition that he is guilty. So a pardon isn't acceptable, but a commutation so that we don't actually have a former president languishing in jail might preserve some national dignity while removing a flashpoint of hostility.

...this is what is most likely to occur, I believe.

Convicting the Donald of this crime will most likely be the extent of his punishment. After all of the trouble this corrupt deep state government went to to try to avoid all this, by letting the Donald drag all this stuff around with him for over a year like some kind of warped caricature of Linus from the Peanuts gang...

...(not to mention how, in whatever hell you might believe in, the Donald was even able to get all of this top-secret-hush-hush-classified rigamarole out of one of the presumably most secure locations on the planet without anybody so much as raising an eyebrow)...

...for all the trouble he has caused...and may yet have caused because of this childish, reckless, churlish behavior...

...locking the Donald up somewhere dressed in his favorite color, with 6' by 9' of his very own personal space would be better than this orange f@ck deserves.

But again...deserves ain't got nothing to do with it.

The country does need to heal in many ways. But building a brand new federal prison in order to make the Donald its only resident isn't any kind of remedy for any of us, I'm afraid.

(I like the idea of it though... running with the theme of "executive privilege" that's stinking things up around this...)

The Donald's just a tumor...a malignant growth we're about to cut out of the political body, effectively. He won't see the inside of a jail cell or the White House.

But what's got this country sick enough to think an orange flavored, knuckledragging chucklef@ck like this was going to do anything other than make things worse is the real sickness.;)

We're really starting to run out of time to find a cure for it, too...
