With the deadline a week away, I figure it's time for a Doc Rocket riddle that we all do a terrible job of deciphering. He was one of the OG insiders that trolls ran off the board back in like 2013. It's time for the revival.
Doubt many people would nothing wrong with a little revival. Or Renewal. Especially with Batman? Methink not. Not because he’s too old to make my team. Older people, older Texas people, they’re good people. Just because you’re 18, it doesn’t mean you ain’t gotta Come Withmore strength. ✌️
So we're leaning towards drafting 18-year old Cam Whitmore (2 years younger than the Thompson twins...) and a possible actual reunion with Harden (older..."Texas people" since he has a home here...) after all? Hmm....
Cam Whitmore in the draft - who is young (18 on draft day) Batman - perhaps a reference to KPjr tweeting last year about how he and Jalen are Batman and Joker Or perhaps Batman is a reference to Chris Paul. Not on the team but not because he is too old. Perhaps because Harden (renewal/ revival) is coming? Texas people = ? Longhorns players? Older ones? LMA/ PJ Tucker/ KD/ DJAugusting/ Bradley/ TThompson/ Turner/ Is that a reference to Thompson? I'm lost
Older Texas people: Marcus Smart, maybe (although he's a dog and Boston might like to keep him). The draft reference is easy.
So Doc likes Whitmore and thinks Batman (Harden) is probably a no-go. Makes sense to me. Amen to that.
No way, man. We're drafting Marcus Sasser with the #20 pick since he's an older Texas player @ UH. lol. Keep the guessing rolling ....
I can get behind that lineup all freaking day. That bench is still partially very young but leaps and bounds better than last season. Lopez with TyTy second year. Cam playing against bench players unlike Green and Jabari being thrown to the fire the last few seasons. KPJ playing against non starters. Then a great vet with the starters and 2 starters into the 3rd year and 2 2nd year players!
We trade KJ, Garuba, Christopher, couple future 2nd rounders, and #20 for something valuable. And we keep our Brooklyn picks.
