Sweden sent Ukraine about 50 of their very sophisticated CV9040C infantry fighting vehicles that are armed with 40mm cannons that can shoot a variety of munitions. They are in Ukraine and should be in action soon. The video shows the airburst shells in action.

I think the "good ammo" comment is related to uranium-depleted shells.

If it's not propaganda, I'm not sure what they hope to accomplish besides make every Ukrainian soldier fight like badgers to the death and utterly hate Russians for the rest of their lives.

I've been watching some roundtable vids that think the forever war angle many Americans have accepted is not sustainable if only because of our immediate/near term interest of containing China.

Ukraine has been running through our stockpiles of certain key weapons and munitions to the point where refilling them without explicit mobilization is a non-starter with current supply chain procurement. Would we run out of arms to give to Ukraine before Russia burns through theirs? We haven't even entirely fullfilled our defensive aid and purchase commitments to Taiwan, so the Ukraine war isn't helping with any of that.

I don't think they were arguing surrender, but rather defining and selling conditions of victory. I knew kruschev "gifted" Crimea to Ukraine SSR , but i didnt know Sevastopol was founded under Catherine the Great.

Is a full stepback necessary to end the conflict? Both parties are bleeding their soldiers dry. I guess a win condition might entail a dmz and reparations, the size of which is contingent upon whether Ukraine is openly allowed to join a Western alliance over X years.

Given how observers are shrouded in the fog of war, no one is willing to blink until something undeniably breaks and confirmations can be drawn or rewritten from it.

    And so the inhumanity continues.

Forever War is just media framing…. Clearly we can’t indefinitely provide weapon systems and munitions to Ukraine.

The world already knows the US can’t produce enough advanced munitions if we got into a war with China.

There is no such thing as large-scale "Forever War", not with anybody against anybody.

The war on terror was a colossal misuse of resources and so was Vietnam.

That doesn’t mean every time it will be. The forever war narrative is where Russia and the western doves align.

One of 2 or so main arteries/checkpoints from the occupied parts of ukraine to crimea is gone. Ukraine saying storm shadow has been 100% accurate ans undefeated so far.

Obama claiming ukraine wasn't a real country in 2014. This guy is such a clown at times. I have no idea why liberals worship Obama. He was one the most disappointing POTUS we've ever had. Awful on policy in every regards.

He gave fancy speeches and was trendy so everyone loved him while he ****ed the middle class.
