@Downtown Sniper projecting. Quoted 7 straight people because he’s having a mental breakdown defending his messiah.

just ****ing goto the Philly forum already. Maybe that’ll clear up why houston fans are distinct from harden fans dumbass

Voting wasn’t public back then, so it was easy to do stuff like that, because you could just deny it. You still see ludicrous stuff (smart dpoy for example) but it’s more embarrassing now for those people

You should speak to someone about your mental issues.

Doc Rivers is on Bill Simmons podcast right now and it's pretty interesting. He's making the point that that Jokic really stands out not just because he is such an amazing passer, but that he's an amazing passer and that he always looks to pass first and this makes his teammates willing and eager to cut. They know if they're open they're going to get the ball. Rivers said that Austin told him his time playing for the Nuggets was the most fun he has had in the NBA because of this.

I don't recall Duncan having to beat the refs though? In fact, the league helped Duncan over Nash. They prevented Nash to vindicate his MVP, as Suns could have gone all the way that year.

No, he wouldn't have. SImply because voters get tired of voting for people after a few years - it's virtually impossible to win the award 3 times in a row no matter how good you are (see Lebron and Jordan). From the start of the season, unless his numbers were miles better than anyone else, Jokic wasn't going to win the MVP. His regular season numbers were down from his previous two years, so that was the end of it. It had nothing to do with Perkins. It had nothing to do with race.

Yeah, except it kind of did.

Imagine all the evidence staring you in the face and you're that far in the sand. Lulz. Good times.

Here's a good joke - Marc Jackson voting for MVP

I don't see anyone in the west that could compete with them anyways. The rest of the playoff teams in the west have huge question marks and Denver could easily beat any of them.

There's just something special about winning through the draft.

Interesting note is that out of Hakeems top 10 plays, 5 are moves done on Hall of Famers. That is even more impressive than it sounds. Jordan has 2.

Nothing on the google news sports feed the day after.

Can SI headline "Messi: The Savior of American Soccer" on the cover of its latest issue?

Quite a lot of hatred for harden.

He's isnt the greatest choker of all time, that's just the narrative anti harden fans keep pushing and recency bias.

I can see the argument that butler is the better leader since he motivates his team to overperform but better player is laughable.

Anti harden has a weird a$$ fascination in putting players who never won it all on a pedestal to sht on Harden for never winning it all. (Lillard, Paul George, butler)

Gotta move on from the harden break up.
Idk how harden haters proclaiming themselves as Rockets fan gonna react if harden does come back too much hatred.

The West in general was pretty weak, 53 wins is the weakest one seed I've seen on this half of the Mississippi ever. But I haven't paid enough attention to see if they'res any real force of nature teams out there in the coming years. Memphis maybe if JJJ gets healthy and Country Boy Ja drops the hood gangsta act. OKC If Chet arrives as advertised and isn't plauged by injuries is a team to watch out for.

This is basically just code for them having a horseshoe up their ass for 2 of the series in these playoffs, that's all. Nothing butler did turned Martin from a scrub to basically a superstar and GOAT level shooter against boston, because if butler could do something about it he would have, and they'd have won 60 games with Martin being top 5 in MVP voting
