interesting memory you have. Lou was electric with us during the regular season and then laid one of the biggest eggs in the playoffs of any Rockets player (including Harden) that I've ever seen. We then traded him and company for CP3 which lead us to the best Rockets regular season of All Time... but yeah, Lou put up some nice numbers on an average Clippers team the next season.
It baffles me when they say only if he plays off ball or only for a smaller contract. Dude wants all the money and be the main character offense. Nothing is changing. He's going the Carmelo Anthony route which I said years ago.
Electric? Are you kidding me? He was not a good fit next to Harden at all. Very similar to Dipo next to Westbrook and then he went on to become an All Star after leaving OKC.
bari is clearly in the wrong here. should've said "nah im good fam. if hardon comes, imma retire from basketball frfr"
LOL I'd love to see how long the romance would last once Jabari bricks 3 or 4 shots in a row! If you thought KPJ iced him out you guys havent seen anything yet!
... and what if he also wants his homies to be brought as part of the deal: PJ and D.House? Signing James Harden is like getting a whole new infrastructure. Major undertaking...
Either he is just being politically correct or he is not the intelligent ball player I thought he was.
Even though I’m not a big fan of resigning Harden, Out of all the players who would benefit fromHarden, I’ve always suspected Bari would benefit the most. One thing Harden would do would be to get him open looks. Like he did Ryno, Covington and Ariza Hell even Delfino.
Shooting big wants to play with a top 3 PG who is a beast at running the PnR after a season of KPJ point incompetence yet he’s the unintelligent one?
There are other PG's out there that will help Bari's game besides Harden that cost considerably less than 50M/year and are not in their declining years. More than likely though, he was just saying the right thing.
Which is far better than any alternatives Harden naysayers have provided so far, which all results in a yet another losing season but this time without high picks to go with it.
Of course he wants Harden back. Jabari's game will only improve with Harden giving him the passes he needs.
Maybe. But Jabari's jumper off the dribble is much better than spot up catch and shoot. I think Jabari is one of the most misunderstood guys. People think he doesn't have very good handle, therefore, he is best play as a spot up guy. But that's just the opposite of what he is good at. Players who camp out at the corner for a spoon fed 3, or rim runners like Capela get the most benefit from Harden.
Bari learned to play great off Sengun, he will be fine with Harden. Plus he can purposely trail for a quick back pass and pull up for a 3.
