Just trade all 3 of them for a starting SF? (My dream is OG - best defender in the NBA and everything we dream Tari could develop into)
OG would be great but it's been pointed out that if we trade for him, he cannot sign an extension under the current CBA. So he's basically a 1 year rental. Unless the price is extremely reasonable, it seems better to just wait and try to get him in free agency if we want him.
That's pretty much what's happened, I think. The questions were along the lines of "How would you feel about playing with Harden?" and "What would you say to Harden to convince him to sign with the Rockets?" and he gave his answers. Plus, in his answer to the first question, he adds, "It’s promising, but we’re not just banking on that. We’re still focused on us and how we can improve as a team." The only thing I get from this report is that the Harden-to-Houston discussion may be more than just rumors.
Out of all the players on the team Jabari would probably be one of the biggest benefactors of a Harden led team.
Jabari wants to be in the strip clubs next year, he’s tired of going to the nail salon with kpj and green.
As much as I’d love to see Harden back in red, let someone else spend 50 million a year on a 34 year old on the sub side of his career. Anything more than 35 per year would be a huge mistake.
Clint Capela and Montrezl Harrell owe their careers to the bearded one. Even the likes of Kenneth Faried got his career revived with Harden throwing him lobs. Imagine if Dwight Howard wasn't mind****ed by Chuck and Shaq into trying to become Hakeem and posting up every possession instead of running the P&R. Harden had many faults, but I've yet to see a player blossom into their "true potential" after Harden left the team.
The thread title is a bit misleading. Jabari was asked leading questions about Harden's return. That's exactly what a young player is supposed to say about a future HOFer, whether he really "wants" Harden to be on his team or not.
Very possibly. At least one of those three might very well be traded or a starting 3 drafted as well.
Rockets want Kyrie Irving and prepared to give a Max Contract Rockets will not give a Max to James Harden TicketTv
Man this stuff is all totally made up by Kyrie's cheesy a$$ PR team. The recruiting Lebron to Dallas story. The him to LA story. The him to the team with most cap space (Rockets) story. He just got traded for essentially 1 FRP and a role player. They're trying to hype his value so he gets as much money as possible. The media will promote it of course because exaggerating rumors is their #1 money maker in the summer. All those videos being made in the summer debating rumors and speculation is funded by exaggerating the rumors or infuriating all 30 fan bases individually on a schedule. Every FA is going to threaten their team with our cap space. Get used to it and don't believe everything you hear especially this summer. We made a culture move with our HC and every message from him and GM have been consistent. They have constantly reminded interviewers that the core that is here is the most important thing and we are seeking more supplementary players unless a superstar-impact ceiling-raising player is available. Udoka really values two-way players who can see the team as a family and as much as I love Kyrie he's not that.
If there's any new posters who need a simple guide on who to ignore to create the best clutchfans experience, just read the first page and block anyone that is obviously stupid with regards to Harden's passing.
Typical delusional Harden fanboi rhetoric. Ever heard of Lou Williams? Was having his best season in his career as a Laker. Got traded to Houston couldn’t fit in with a selfish ball stopper like Harden. Went to the Clippers and put up career best numbers right away. Strange. Capela and Harrel don’t owe him shiit. Capela has basically been the same player in ATL as he was here. Harrel’s last season with Harden he put up 9.1 PPG and 3.8 RPG. Harrel a few years later without Harden put up 18.6 PPG and 7.1 RPG. No Harden and doubled his output? In only 9 more minutes per game? Like how is that even possible? Here’s a favorite quote from last February. Lmaoooo you Harden fanbois are wild af. Shout out to fan club members @jerryclark @clos4life @Rocket River for liking that post. Bunch of delusional dummies I tell ya.
