77 pitches through 7 2/3.... Edit: 81 pitches through 8 innings. wow. ..offense didn't make this guy work at all today.
It may not be - it’s very hard to repeat - but there is still a lot of season left. To me it feels like they need some help from outside the organization.
Blue Jays pinch hitting Kirk for the other catcher in a RBI situation and he delivered. That's good coaching.
are we still the team that strikes out the least or where are we in that ranking? i would assume it's not so great.
I'm convinced Dusty tells the hitting coaches to stop scouting opposing pitchers after high scoring games and take the day off.
Dubon has literally been the MVP of this team since the beginning of the year (other than Yordan)... no-one has hit more consistently and stepped up defensively more consistently. Hope he makes the All-Stros team... and I also hope Jose Abreu gets this many: 0 votes. Abreu?!
TK was at a loss for words between that strikeout call and the Taqueria Arandas plug... damnnn hope the bells are resonating through and through!
Maldy has gotten lazy and it's noticeable. League leader in passed balls and continues to catch on one knee. I read somewhere he's spending less time working with the pitching staff on off days.
