When purchasing my 1/2 season tickets I spoke with a lady named Tara Black. You can probably just call the Toyota Center and ask for her. She was very nice in helping me and she also set up an appointment for my gf and I to come out on a weekday during lunch and check out our seats. If you buy now (I believe it's still going) you can save a little money if you buy 1/2 or full season tickets, ex. $10 seats for $9. Hope this helps.

Just call 713-627-DUNK, and Tara or one of the other reps can guide you through all the options.

Any word on when the game packages are going to be released? Looking to get a 14 game package.

We're looking at early September for that.

That's a little bit later than last year, but there are two reasons:

    (1) Interest in full season tickets is higher than it has been, and we want to get a better idea of how many tickets will be sold that way before we start blocking out seats for mini-plans.

    (2) The schedule was a bit later than last year.

It'll still give everybody plenty of time to get their orders in.

We do have customers who have called in and already paid for a 14-pack without seeing the lineup, because they want to get the best mini-plan seats possible. Once we release the packs, they'll choose which plan they want and be first in line for seats.

Not saying that you should do that or have to do that -- but some people have asked, so I wanted to make sure people know what's possible.

When I called today, the Rockets they said that packages would be available in a couple days. Tim says sometime in September. I am confused and ready to buy tickets.

Tim: Could you clarify or give me a better estimated date?

People who bought a package last year will be able to renew or upgrade in the next couple of days. The only delay is getting the final schedule entered into the ticketing system and getting the packages pre-set so the ticketing software can identify them.

For the general public (i.e., you aren't a previous package buyer), it'll be early September, most likely right after Labor Day.

We made it clear a while back that we wanted our current customers to have special privileges ... this is one. (It's good to be part of the family.)

Full season packages are, of course, available to anyone who wants in already.

Hope that clears it up. We'll be following up shortly with more specifics.

Tim, thanks for the information. There are probably very few NBA marketing execs. that connect with their fans like you do. Keep up the good work.
