I mean they were both Canucks. IIRC personality-wise, Macbeth had a needy mean streak and NSS had a different low key writing style.

If the video isn't there anymore, the only possible reason is that the CIA intervened. There could be no other possible reasons.

Another terrible candidate. Can anyone imagine this guy being president? He has Gary Johnson vibes.

I had never heard of this guy, but he certainly has name recognition, after doing some research on him it's a hard pass for me. The conspiracy theories that some people have are just so odd to me, but hey, to each his own.

I just watched the Whitehorse Plumbers and that got me into looking at the JFK assassination. There is no doubt elements of the CIA, MIC and wealthy right wing businessmen were involved.
The social turmoil of the 50s and 60s broke peoples brains. It reminds me of today. The red scare stuff looks like QAnon. It seems like the current GOP has reverted to the same rhetoric the Birchers used back then.

There’s a reason he is into conspiracies. His father and uncle were murdered by conspiratorial groups. I think the conspiratorial thinking has bled into his anti vax stance which is sad.

He is a very interesting person - I actually think he is going after some of the same people that DeSantis is going after.

There are actually a fair amount of Democrats and independents that want immigration reform.

He is cobbling together a group of single issue voters, but on the left side.

He can probably take some anti-vaxxers that are supporting Republicans too.

I suspect if he gets enough attention, he will actually do well with Hispanics and older voters.

I listened to this guy on the Smerconish show on POTUS a couple of days ago. Besides his voice problems and the lack of governmental experience (hopefully we learned the lesson of hiring an outsider for the world's most difficult insider job), the fact that he is prone to conspiracy theories is disqualifying. This is a common evolutionary defect with the human mind, that is more pronounced in some people. Besides the anti-vax delusion, he believes the CIA killed his father and uncle. This is understandable given the trauma the assassinations would have caused him at a young and impressionable age. But it is disqualifying as we don't need a person who cannot rationally process information and reach a logical conclusion, as having ultimate authority in whether we go to war, take the lead on AI before China does, fight climate change, etc. It doesn't matter how intelligent you are if your judgment is out of whack.

Conspiracy theorists are so hot right now….

Hard pass from me but I understand how folks with child-like minds would be appealed by him.
