That’s the great part about his game is his willingness to pass even when it seems he is driving hard to the paint. He has great vision and can make difficult passes like those cross court passes or zips to the corners. Passing is an art and not every player can make those passes.

 

Ive watched about 75 % of the video ... kinda hard to glean too much information.

Amen is a true boom or bust pick IMO . But im leaning more bust. I see the speed and quickness , but you gotta have more than that to be the pick at 4

I have questions about the competition level , but my eyes are not as good as pro scouts . We will see where he ultimately goes .

how would you guys compare him to shaedon sharpe ?

I really hate the "top 5 athlete the moment he gets to the nba " .. I feel like that is too overused. Besides athleticism for your size/position is a bit better of a measuring stick AND you gotta be able to do things with that athleticism.

Green was supposedly one of those guys , but he got pushed around a ton rookie year and was objectively one of the worst players in the league. Im lower on green than most here . But green is a much better shooter than Amen. Amen seems to have better passing skills and is a fair bit taller and longer .

I understand with these guys you arent taking them for year 1 or 2 even , but idk if we are in a position to take an extended risk on Amen.

 

Sharpe is more one dimensional of an athlete compared to Amen and Green. He's the highest leaper in the NBA but he's more closer to a KJ Martin type of athleticism of powerful explosion but not much lateral agility and balance that guys like Amen and Green can do off the dribble.
