I hope this isn't true or they're only thinking about buying a 2nd rounder for him. No way his creation translates to the NBA, he's a weak-defensive spot-up shooting backup guard.
Take Jalen Williams numbers from Santa Clara last year and add 6/5/1 to them. Shoots nearly 44% from deep with 1.8 steals and a half a block a gm. There's a reason why they might be high on him.
Is it me or does he have a weird shot? Looks like it starts low and is almost a two hand release. I mean he has NBA 3pt range, but it just looks kinda weird to me. With that said, love his court vision and how active he is defensively (esp in the passing lanes). Very crafty in the lane and has some unique finishing ability. He's the combo guard we hoped JC would become. I'd be ok with him at #20, we need shooting and playmaking. Looks like someone that GS would target.
Trade 4 for 6 & 11 and we can draft Black, Dick, and Whitehead at #20 for an absolute unit of a draft haul.
True. Which is why they might be interested in taking him 20 and not 4. BTW Podziemski averaged more blocks and steals than him, but I get your point.
I'm good with this pick here, all the players at this spot have weaknesses, and he might fill in well as a role player. He or Brice might fit our shooting needs, neither is great on defense though but all his numbers are positive.
This kid can play. I have watched him in person a few times and he can play point guard in the NBA. He can also play SG because he’s just a high IQ player. I said it in the chat on Rockets watch that he’s the guy I would pick.
Game looks similar to Luke Kennard. That's not a knock. Kennard has defensive weaknesses but is a great shooter in Memphis' rotation.
Not good enough for 20. My final prediction is Brandon Miller will be the 4th pick if he falls to there, otherwise it will be Amen Thompson. Kris Murray is my choice at 20 if he's available. DL will probably fall between 15-19.
