I mean certainly Dusty won't let Abreu start 160 games with a season ending .187 batting average, 53 RBIs and an OPS+ of 50?

I jinxed him.

 

He's 7th in baseball leaving men on base with a whopping 107. And that's with a bottom third of the league offense. Just think if this was the 2017 offense, he'd be on an MLB record pace with well over 125 LOB right now.

 

Can't expect much more out of Blanco. 5 innings, 2 runs is good for him. The offense needs to do their jobs.

 

If Blanco goes 5 or 6 and gives up 2-3 runs ya just can’t blame him for the loss. We’ve squandered Bielak and Frances starts with a no show offense in those games, damn shame because we could be tied or leading the West otherwise.

Can't ask for much more than Blanco has given the team tonight. The lineup needs a serious shakeup. These cold spells are becoming the norm.
