They got into some real on air beef, skip was the instigator. It looked real and Shannon confirmed later

 

I doubt it. He's also leaving Fox Sports and Club Shay Shay, and he's still doing a couple more weeks of Undisputed. Doesn't sound like something he'd do over Skip. It's probably over more money and maybe something to do with Bretr Favre suing him. Maybe Fox isn't defending him.

I'd like to see Shannon join up with Stephen A. and create a rival to Colin Cowherd's The Volume network. An all blek version of it. Get Marcellus Wiley to join. Just don't do anything with LeBron's media company, please. Shannon is very entertaining despite being in love with LeBron.

I'd like to see Skip just retire. He's the or one of the godfathers of this format and is still entertaining and quick, as well. But there ain't that many Black sports media personalities that would be willing to take the heat they'd take for replacing Shannon. It won't work with a white dude.

 

i think skip vs arenas/pippen/candace parker/perkins would be great.

skip may have a stroke on air, but it's that's entertainment.

Arenas would shoot Skip after Skip interrupts him one too many times. Skip would swallow Pippen's soul. Skip would catch a case working with Candace. And Perkins would snap Skip's neck for criticizing LeBron.

Skip would like nothing more than to die on the job. The man decided to not have kids in order to dedicate himself to his job. Dude told his future wife she'd always be #2 to his job. He'll probably end his career cancelled.

That could work until Draymond snaps and Superman punches Skip.

Richard Sherman is joining FS1 to spar with Skip Bayless on “Undisputed” in the wake of Shannon Sharpe’s departure from the program, The Post has learned.

Sherman will go at it with Bayless on around 50-100 shows per year, mostly during football season.

He will remain on Amazon Prime Video’s “Thursday Night Football” studio show.

Sherman’s FS1 contract is not signed yet, but an agreement is in place.

FS1 declined comment.

FS1 also has interest in Keyshawn Johnson, according to sources.

Johnson, the former Heisman Trophy winner and No. 1 pick, was recently part of ESPN’s layoffs.

He had just completed the first year of a five-year, $18 million contract.

ESPN still owes him the rest of his money.

Bayless announced on his podcast last week that the rapper Little Wayne will also be part of the debating club, appearing on Fridays.

Sherman and Bayless had a run-in on Bayless’ old show, “First Take,” more than a decade ago.

Sherman at one point told Bayless he had never accomplished anything.

Bayless retorted that he had done more in media than Sherman had in football.

Anyway, the two met up last month at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills for a two-hour talk and it went well.

Now, Sherman and Bayless will be going at it on FS1.

Seems to me that there shouldn’t be any expectations that this new pairing is any better than the old one.

 

Bayless vs Sherman is interesting. One thing I don't see in Sherman is humor. Shannon was funny. Not always intentionally, though. Shannon is a gem in that business. He, Skip, and Stephen A. are the best. I get that people hate the whole business model and especially hate Skip. Entertains me enough.
