From article: League sources tell MassLive that the expectation is the team will add more experience to Mazzulla’s staff this summer with former Rockets coach Stephen Silas named as a top candidate to join the staff. @DreamShook
I hope so. For all his benefits I feel he's too much of a safety net, crutch, to lean on. Dad has to leg go of the bike eventually even if the kid falls down.
I remember being excited about a couple of these past asst coaches. we'll see. Silas Rockets tenure has scarred me.
Wasn’t Silas a very good assistant coach? Rockets wouldn’t have hired him otherwise. He’s just not a HC material.
Silas handling of the Rockets offense makes me question how good he was as an assistant. all that crap about him being there for Curry, Lebron and Luka's development was all bullshit. IMO. sticking Jalen the corner after what he saw in summer league then sticking Bari in the same corner.. criminal.
Damn-near the entire team, FO, and coaching staff are about to be from the West Coast/Portland area. lol. No wonder they were after Paolo.
With Udoka's bad rap combined with Houston's love of hoes and strip clubs we bout to become the Houston Hoblazers.
Sullivan working on Sengun, Jabari, Green, Garuba, Christopher, Tyty and Tari is so awesome for us. I love the idea of Ime recapturing a good part of the core that elevated the Celtics. Are any of these 3 rumored assistants experts on offense? We need one of those to round out the staff and support Ime.
He was one of the No Bullshet guys on that bench......cannot get rid of him because now you got more of them.
