It is until you consider Colorado has turned it all over to him in the hopes that he can transform them through the NIL stuff. He’s the brand they’re hanging their hats on right now, for better or for worse.

Ya they’re definitely putting their eggs in Prime’s basket. No idea how it’ll turn out but doesn’t seem like they have too much to lose.

I assume Gonzaga would want more sports put in to justify a bigger revenue share? When you factor in the logistics of getting to and from Spokane, I'm telling them to take it or leave it if I'm Yormack.

there were meetings today that moved things forward quickly. We may get leaks of news of Colorado to Big 12 this evening or tomorrow….

I'm sorry I just do not believe that. Nobody is so stupid as to put the fate of their entire athletics department in the hands of, ostensibly, a rookie football coach who hasn't even been there a year and may not even be around next year.

This confirms my biases and so I believe it 100%.

I definitely get the reservations about believing that. I have a friend who is pretty connected there and says he’s blown away by it.

20ish years of basically complete irrelevance will do that

What’s crazy is how amazingly great they were for so very long…and then just nothing

I think this game basically broke their spirit.

This seems very temporary so not worrying too much about it but only having one permanent opponent each season is weak.

It's going to be pretty funny if the SEC ends up with 3 undefeated teams in conference play.

For what it’s worth, this is the guy that was saying USC and UCLA were going to the Big 10 months before it happened.

I thought this was a pretty interesting little clip.

Not just the Tim Brando comments, but the fact somebody dug up the notes from the meetings in the days before Colorado went to the PAC 12 and they look eerily similar to the meetings scheduled for this week.

So if the pac 12 loses Colorado and Arizona... what happens to their deal? The way it's being positioned sounds like the deal is going through without them. I mean that's not much of a loss in football power however Colorado is pretty good at olympic sports and both represent major markets. That seems tough to recover from without being able to pull members from other big 5 conferences.

Given the situation I'm guessing that this turbulence might be impacting how the contracts are being drawn up.

Imagine you're trying to buy a car that, at this very moment, is in the mechanic's shop.

It might come out with some serious problems that could cost you greatly... so how do you price that into your offer?
