I caught some of the pregame interview with Rocco Baldelli and he admitted that he didn’t know much about Bielak. It might be possible the Twins didn’t really prepare for himZ
Sparky went on a rant about the Crawford boxes. He probably saw the same tweet clowning Altuve's grandslam. "They bait the hitter thinking it's so close. It just ends up messing with their swing trying to pull it there." I wonder how many HRs have been hit by the opposition into the Crawford boxes alltime (besides the 2 infamous ones) in comparison to the other 29 left fields.
Jesus Julks what an awful f**king throw in both aspects, at least keep the runner at 1st. 75-80 pitches is the end of the line for Bielak, letting him go too much longer is playing with fire.
In the pregame Baldelli was talking about how short the LF is at Minute Maid. He emphasized though that it’s tempting to take advantage of it.
Only seen the Astro ABs thru 3 innings Some of the worst called-strikes since Maddux/Glavine Shoutout to Abreu's near-HR for the sac fly Hopefully it bodes well for better production
Touch and go there at the end, but another excellent outing from Bielak. He should not come back out for the 6th, take the good outing and don't try to push further. Bielak isn't a guy that can go to 90-100 pitches and still be effective
