All these fat dudes from Europe are dominating the NBA. And people are saying Americans are too fat. :D

Euro fat can play. US fat can't play. can't blame Euro fats.

Eddy Curry, Mike Sweetney, Ray Felton, Robert Traylor, pre-season James Harden.

otoh, when you can still play, you're not too fat.

If Jokic grew out his hair and beard like Jonas Valanciunas I think he would be perceived as being a lot tougher and stronger, closer to what he actually is, haha. He has the same kind of buzz cut as my 10 year old nephew.

Joker is proof that team basketball is a thinking man’s game. He makes it look easy!

lol Kendrick Perkins. it's rare that race-baiting gets exposed this clearly.
lol Mark Jackson. (it was fun watching him concede and convert over as the playoffs progressed)

The Embiid for MVP crowd got their crow served hot and direct.

The way the Sixers went out in games 6 and 7 could not be a more direct contrast to Jokic's playoffs, though, as we know, the playoffs are a latent measure of the validity of MVP and not a factor. Still, we always can rely on them to prove the media narrative right or wrong.

It was clear that Jokic had no interest in winning the MVP. He was coasting toward the end of the regular season when the Nuggets had secured the first seed in the West. Meanwhile Embiid was hard on chasing it. I stopped putting much stock in those voted awards. There are no clear criteria. It's all narrative driven. It's a device to generate empty debates and give the media to get some clicks.

Yeah and although it's almost always dumb, and I ignore it, I was disheartened to see that racists try to stir up feelings. Hopefully someday we will be less likely to see color and tokenism in everything. I'm glad that book is now closed.

    It is alright.

The regular season by the Nuggets was an up and down but the Postseason was phenomenal.
