So the typical, "Rockets are going to go after everyone,"
smoke and mirrors offseason has begun

I hear Carmelo Anthony is willing to unretire and go to Houston.
    Won't be cheap though.

We can literally go in a multitude of ways...... we will be in almost every rumor.

I'd rather take on CP3s contract then pay Harden...... especially if the point is to mentor the young guys.

I guess I read your comment as suggesting those teams “over achieved.” They were young teams with future star players in Griffin, Booker, and SGA. He’s a HOF great. Adding him to another star of course is going to “elevate” those teams. So yes, if that’s all you’re saying, there is no argument against that. If you’re saying he took a team and “overachieved,” then I disagree. They all improved, which they would have with the addition of any additional good player — they were all prime to improve given the youth of their franchise stars.

Hell yes, I would take CP3 over Harden in a heartbeat. I'd have to check the free agent class, but I'd likely choose him, even at this age over all of them.

This is a development phase to compete, that guy has the talent that he could be the next Jerry West in the sense he can be a HOF player, be a coach, and then an executive. If you really want to learn the game and be successful, young guys can definitely learn from Paul.

CP3 would be a better pick up than Harden, imo. Potential grooming for HC backup plan if Udoka doesn't pan out.

I'm sure CP3 would jump at the chance to come back and play for Tilman.

This is the game I remember during CP3's time here Harden was out we go into Oakland and kick Warriors ass and we had great ball movement better than we did the entire Harden era CP3 had everyone involved getting good looks at the basket.

    This is a likely scenario.

To be real, i'd rather the Rockets get CP3 instead of Harden. All time grat Point Guard that can teach the young guys a los of things and also, how to be low key a dirty mofo. They need some attitude.

Why would Paul come here if he still wants to win a ring. If he has indeed moved on from championship aspiration he'd be better off just retiring and taking the HC job with the Sun's. No way they would turn him down. Probably be a damn good one.

Read the article. Iko said Paul is literally is the last option. If Harden goes to Phoenix or stays in Philadelphia then it’s Mike Conley and if that fails then it’s with Paul or Jordan Clarkson type options

CP3 is the perfect professional for this young team. He would be like a coach on the floor. CP3 is 5× more of a Udoka guy than Hardhead.

This hasn't been a typical Rockets team all offseason.
