    Why did we re-sign Montero? He was literally the only bullpen guy who sucked horribly in the playoffs and was a big reason that pivotal game 5 was almost blown.

    And as bad as Montero's ERA is, it would be worse had Abreu not saved his ass in that Toronto game when he left the bases loaded with no outs.

    Send Dustin with them on an extended vacation....

    I'd honestly rather A Cintron or the Windmill G-Pettis take over at this point.... i have more faith in either of those 2 than the muffin man to bring us back to the promised land in the the postseason (ALCS & WS...)

    Praying Abreu won't be on the postseason roster-- don't deserve the ring homie.

    He's too proud to swallow his pride. Of course he isn't going to say "oops it was a mistake" or "a real, full-time GM wouldn't have made these deals."

    He had a 1.93 era in the playoffs and struck out 10 batters in 9.1ip. He was shaky a few times and looked like he was starting to wear down towards the end, but no idea where you are getting that he "sucked horribly"

    I see we are back to our 10+ runs shenanigans, where the offense goes into hibernation the very next game.

    This was so predictable. Face a terrific pitcher - light him up. Face an absolute dumpster fire trash pitcher - get blanked.

    He pitched in 10 games, gave up 2 runs for a 1.93 ERA. Compared to rest of the bullpen I guess that's terrible.
