The pitcher they faced today had an ERA near 11. They’re playing not only a bad team but one of the worst teams in modern history. The team has struggled mightily at the plate this year. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect just a little bit more from them. We essentially drove in 1 run today. Don’t forget this is supposed to be entertainment and offensively this team is anything but.

Look at the rotation for the Rockies and see how high their ERA is as a team. Wake me up when the Rangers play another good team.
What a game by Framber! That was fun to watch. And as far as Abreu goes, I cannot really even blame him at this point. It’s on Dusty. Tucker has to bat behind Yordan. Sure, Abreu is going to see better pitches being sandwiched between those two, but what is that doing to the pitches that Yordan sees? I’d pitch around Yordan every single time with Abreu batting 4th. Abreu should be hitting 9th behind Maldy if you have to have him in the lineup. I think a near automatic out behind Yordan cancels out whatever benefit left-right-left brings. Tuck’s walkoff single was from the 4 hole. Abreu would have likely hit into a DP and ended that game. Can Dubon get some lifts or something to make him 6’2” and play 1B? Pretty please?
Lol we just played a worse team w an even worse ERA and managed to drive in all of 1 run. That was kinda the point of the original comment.
Eventually this starting rotation is going to stop being so fantastic and we are gonna play .500 ball again for an extended stretch. What is so bad is that Dusty is delusional and thinks he's making all the right moves vs the reality that are winning in spite of his utter dumbness.
