Can we acknowledge that Jabari was this board's concensus #1, but most here actually got bamboozled, fooled, duped by the media and Orlando's smokes screen?

Wish the best for our Bari but he wasn't close to being a top 3 rookie last year.

I still say Smith was the right choice. It will take several years before the dust settles, but he may end up being the best out of his draft class. He needs some time, but fortunately, he seems to have the right attitude and work ethic.

Shaedon Sharpe is another player who has the potential to make the leap into elite, IMO.

Based on his rookie season he clearly wasn't the right choice. He's terrible at basketball, he's overally hard to watch, his defense is decent but definitely overrated, he can't shoot, can't pass, can't dribble, can't create his own shot, can't finish around the rim, can't jump, has poor handles. He has very good middy and that's currently ALL he has. Fingers crossed he improves until then he is a bust for me. He was borderline a G-League player in 80% of the season let's be honest rn. The only reason he wasn't sent to G-League is because he got drafted at 3. I trust Ime and Jabari's work ethic but either he's beyond raw at the moment or we completely ****ed up by drafting him.

Agreed. 6'10", switchable, can get his shot off over anyone. Has the potential to be an elite second scoring option, top 20 player in the league. I am not reading anything into rookie year statistics on a team with terrible spacing at age 19.

There are the glass is half full fans and the glass is half empty fans. Seems very little in between.

i think Jabari was obviously overwhelmed by the speed of the NBA. It didn’t help matters his coach wanted to be more a life coach than an NBA coach.

I am very excited to see how he handles a tough nosed, take no nonsense kind of Coach!

These people that are writing off a 19 year old are hilarious. He balled out at the end of a season with an idiot coach that didn't run plays for him and teammates that barely passed to him. People saying he "can't shoot", wow. He's already hit a game winner, he's going to be a monster.

Make sure y'all keep that same energy.

Not trading Jabari. Oddly enough, even with the struggles his rookie year, out of all our young prospects, im most confident that Jabari is gonna turn himself into a tremendous player. He has the mindset to be great.

Only Jabari update I care about is how much muscle he’s adding this off-season. Follow the Giannis supplement diet big man!

I like Jabari even if his ceiling right now is Terrance Jones.

For real, his rookie season was better than TJones at his peak

Yeah but Jones isn’t done. He is still several years younger than Lebron.

People are so impatient. If you compare LeBron's numbers when he's at Jones's age...
