    Portland vs. HoustonJuly 23, 2001
    Blazers 89, Rockets 84

Zach Randolph scored 14 of his 39 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Portland Trailblazers to a 89-84 victory over the Houston Rockets in the third game of the day.

The Blazers were ahead by four at the end of the first quarter and were up by two at the half. The game was tied at 66 at the end of the third quarter.

In addition to Randolph's game high 39 points he pulled down a game high 10 rebounds to lead the Blazers and Maurice Carter came off the bench to add 19 points. Houston was led by Omar Sneed with 18 points while rookie Eddie Griffin added 16 points and 10 boards.

Portland is now 2-0 in the Revue and will play their next game against the Cleveland Cavs at noon Thursday, July 24 in a nationally televised game on ESPN2. Houston fell to 1-2 and will take Tuesday off before playing The San Antonio Spurs at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25

16-10? Not too shabby. I just hope Griffin wasn't the one guarding Randolph.

Randolph has been putting up these types of numbers all throughout the summer leagues... I don't think it's poor defense by the Rockets in this case.

39 for Notorious BIG is way too much. I sure hope EG wasnt holding Big poppa. DarkHorse give us some good news.

Hopefully Darkhorse will give us a detailed recap later.

WHERE THE HELL IS CATO? Has anybody figured out why he is not playing? He must be involved in a trade, and CD does not want anybody to see his true game against league competition.

Gosh, he's looking like he could be a real steal . . .

Even though these are just summer league games, still -- there's something to be said about consistently scoring well. His competition may be a bit soft, and not the ideal counter to his game. But I have a feeling he could be a real steal for Portland . . . but he'll get little playing time, behind Wallace.

Griffin was guarding him huh? Well he's a bust, lets get rid of him, he's useless. Should have kept the New Jersey picks. The season is over, what do you think we could get in the lottery next year! [IMG] Thanks for the update guys! [IMG]

Guys, I've always like Randolph. I thought he was the best looking player (or a very close second) at the McDonald's game a year ago.
