I never fully bought into RT. Great coach tho that played the cards he was dealt very well. I think the pressure from the outside to hire him got to the AD. Would have definitely went after a bigger splashier name for the Texas brand that has a track record of success & building programs.

Hunter and Mitchell are maintaining their eligibility so we’ll see what happens with them. I suspect Mitchell will get a decent draft grade based on potential alone.
Def not ideal. But not sure if this is a RT issue or just one we can expect with MBB moving forward. Portal, G-League, Overseas, NIL, and possible return of HS straight to the NBA all within a few year span is insane.

Apparently Holland has been for promises about his role and opportunities that RT wouldn’t make. No specifics at all and want to give RT the benefit of the doubt, but even with the portal additions, the overall attrition coming off an Elite 8 appearance is concerning.
College athletics is becoming a joke. The total ineptitude of the NCAA blew the door wide open for college athletics to turn into the wild wild west of semi pro ball where college affiliation means absolutely nothing. Like most things in this country, the unwavering determination to place profits above everything else has completely ruined the intent and pageantry of collegiate athletics that made it so damn appealing to begin with.
