Here's the link to the trailer. http://batmanbegins.warnerbros.com/ From the looks of it we get to see a little bit more Bruce Wayne than we would normally get to see. Bruce Wayne has been shadowed behind his other persona, but it looks like it might be the opposite this time around. Here's a pic of the batmobile... http://batmanbegins.warnerbros.com/page09.html Um, it looks a little bit more like a tank than the traditional batmobile. I guess the director wants something that is a tad bit more realistic, but no way Batman picks up any chicks in that thing.
Very versatile actor to go from this: To this: to BATMAN I'm so looking forward to a Batman with Bruce Wayne as the central point.
That looks like a tank fell on his Formula 1 car. If they are doing Batman's early years, isn't Christian Bale a little old?
I'm glad I don't have to dress up in a rubber batsuit to make me feel better. That would be very inconvenient. Especially, you know, traveling on business. I doubt you can carry that thing on.
It's not really the batmobile. I mean, it's batman's car, but he borrows it from his company. It's called the Tumbler and it's supposed to be a military vehicle that never went into production. So he takes it and paints it black. Anyways, wait til you see why they call it the Tumbler. Also, this thing actually works. Previous Batmobiles couldn't go very fast because one they got above a certain speed, the fiberglass body would shake apart. This thing can go well over a 100 mph, I forget the actual speed, something like 140 maybe, and the jet engine there actually has a function, it isn't there to just spit out fire. pics of them filming the tumbler in chicago: http://www.superherohype.com/batman/index.php?id=1811 edit* all of this stuff has been posted before, I know because I usually start a batman thread when something important happens.
Ok i dont get it this new batman movie is about ???? The begining ??? and hes after his parents killer??
so this is batman before bruce wayne? and the setting takes place a few years way before bruce wayne was in? im confused someone help please
It is supposed to be Batman taking on his first villans. In the 1989 Batman when he was taking on the Joker, Batman was portreyed as his first outing thus causing conflicting Batman stories between the two. All though some elements from the 90's Batman stories(Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever, and Batman and Robin)were used, I don't think the people are supposed to treat Batman Begins as apart of that series. Maybe a comic book guy will reply and explain more.
First of all, forget the previous Batman movies, this has nothing to do with them. It's an origin movie, you see how Batman becomes Batman. Around the time he's in college, many years after his parents were murdered, *spoilers* the murderer got off for testifying against crime boss Carmine Falcone. Bruce tries to kill him with a gun, but he's assisinated by a thug of Falcone's. Bruce then goes to a club that Falcone ownes and pays a thug at the door to tell him when Falcone comes out so that he can get him instead. The thug recognizes him and kicks his ass. Bruce then realizes that he can't get his revenge this way, so he leaves to learn all he can eventually ending up as a member of a secret Ninja clan known as the league of shadows, the leader is Ras Alghul played by Ken Watanabe and Liam Neeson plays his 2nd in command, Ducard. Ducard trains Bruce and initiates him. After Bruce has learned everything, he fights his way out because they are a criminal orginization and goes back to Gotham to take back his company and find a way to fight crime. He does this by taking equipment from his own company's R&D section like a bullet proof suit for soldiers and the tumbler.*spoiler* The rest of the movie is him mostly as batman getting his revenge, but then finding out about a nefarious plot that puts Gotham in serious trouble. The members of the rogues gallery in this are Scarecrow and Ras Alghul. Anyways, it's a reboot. This is the first in a more serious line of movies, so some day, we'll see some of the other villians again.
