I really hope Jabari keeps getting chips on his shoulder and having (even silly) grudges against players. Means if he ever gets his **** together he'll be a monster. There's a very famous shooting guard who used to make up bullshit beefs in his head to help drive his psychotic desire to win. Obviously it's a different level of talent, but players who obsess about competing and settling their scores make great competitors.
I mean I wanted Scoot anyway, I personally believe Wemby will be Yao 2.0, great player with a ton of potential to be a HOFer but will have a short career due to injury. It’s not normal to be that size and play on the perimeter the way he does, and most big men that do tend to have injury issues. We’ll see if he proves me wrong and his body will hold up though. That being said, it sucks we may not end up with either guy but I’m hoping we either trade up or Scoot falls to us
700 downloads of the team app, you say? EDIT: To be fair, given the whole NBA probably only had 300 downloads of any team app over the last five years, maybe 700 is incredible, LOL.
The healthiest 7 footers in the league this season have been: -Porzingis(65 games) -Rudy(70 games) -Jokic(69 games) Porzingis has been notoriously injury prone. This is his healthiest season. Gobert is pretty durable but he's low usage and isn't very nimble and then you have Jokic who stays planted on the floor. History tells us Wemby will be injury prone but then again if they can get 60 games a season from him, that's a win.
Who cares? No way this kid plays more than 5 seasons in this league with that body. You can't stay healthy if you are 7'5. Sorry he's too good to be true.
