Astros took power like Stalin last night. Great to see. Tremendous pitching by a REAL CHRISTIAN and phenomenal catch by Chas.

Exactly. That's literally all he's good for. A walk.

    Yeah. Just give me both.

HR's won us the Seattle series and the World Series.

Just like chili powder, it's a spice and not the entree.

It is likely over 40% of the Astros runs score on homers.

I remember we were looking at a possible Christian Walker trade with Arizona this past winter. Damn he would look great batting 4th or 5th.

    .268/.333/.523 (.857 OPS) with 10 HR and 30 RBIs

Zona is in the playoffs easily right now. They are adding not subtracting I’m sure.

By easily I meant- right now. They are closer to the #1 overall seed in the league than they are to being out of the playoffs, and their run differential (unlike say- the Marlins who are currently in playoff position with a -55 run differential) would indicate that isn't a fluke. I think they finish 3rd in that division. I think that the central is generally trash- so it probably comes down to who of them and the Phillies finishes with a better record- if I had to guess. But, either way they aren't subtracting at the deadline- they are adding.

I've got Dodgers/Padres/Central/Braves and Mets all in the playoffs and Phillies and DBacks fighting over the last spot.

Can someone make sense of this as this seems extremely wrong?

Yeah I was more talking about hypothetically adding him this past offseason instead of signing Abreu. No chance that's happening now..

I think Chandler took the difference from average (0.2”) as the actual value.

People said a lack of vertical break made 4-seams invisible

    Thus, a good thing

Invisiball = high IVB + minimal vertical approach angle

Holy **** I'm going to the game and I get to see no Maldy and no Dubon as a leadoff hitter, plus a guy I've been interested in for a while now. I now haz the excite.

Will be interesting to compare how France performs today versus when Maldy caught him. He churned throw a lot of innings in his last outing by the Ks evaporated.
