I'm a fan of compulsory civil service for our youth, but Rammy can shove this particular idea straight up his butthole (where it came from, I imagine).
this guy is an idiot and an attention w**** head shaped like Jimmy Neutron, but without the brains to go with it
You gotta pay your dues if you want to get anywhere within the GOP these days. I'm not sure if I'm talking about making amendments to limit the opposition's voting pool, or shoving things up buttholes, though.
Hahahahhaa super smart ? He just said he would raise the voting age by congress when the moron doesn't even know you need a constitution amendment which requires 2/3 of states to agree. This is the guy who's super smart? Haha the guy who doesn't know how to pass the laws he's proposing. Man right wingers are so desperate to cling onto someone other than trump
What makes him super smart? Can you answer this without merely saying he's a Yale law grad? His rhetoric is just generic right wing platitudes. What unique thought has expressed that is nuanced and shows a sincere level of intellectual curiosity?
Hahaah you just said he was super smart regardless of his politics. He doesn't even know how to raise the voting age legally and you think he's smart looool. Oh my the right has become so illiterate. Man you people are so funny. Bless your heart by being so ignorant. The laughs I get from here are priceless
Hahaha he doesn't even know how to pass legislation. They asked him about the filibuster and he didn't even know about it hahahahhahaah. Imaging singing up to be a lawyer but you tell the law firm you don't know how to file briefs. This is the equivalent of vivek nd his fans claim he's super smart. These message boards are so funny
He was valedictorian in his school, got a summa c*m laude degree from Harvard College, then a JD from Yale. He also founded several companies, at least one of which ended up with a multibillion valuation.
Nothing here shows some sort of intellectual curiosity. What is he passionate about? Does he create anything. Before his forey into politics did he show any sincere interest in how societies function? Did he do any genuine community work before this that isn't corporate pr campaigns? Does he show any passion outside the framework of modern political discourse? Intelligent people are very curious individuals. Show me what makes him intelligent. Not his path to rise to corporate power. That is pure id self interest. Show me something that he's passionate about that isn't something that someone does to just have more power and wealth.
Is being "super smart" really that important? Being president is a lot different than being a CEO of a company or entrepreneur.
I guess my impression is that he's a golden boy like Obama. Smart, ambitious, hardworking, well educated, the whole little package. He does well. But there are a million people like that. Obama at least had committed himself to public service by running for smaller offices first before getting catapulted to the presidency ahead of his own timeline. Vivek isn't in it for the public service. He just wants to be president. And not even badly enough to strategically target lower offices and build a resume. Just a longshot gamble for the top job. Also reminds me of Andrew Yang. Has some ideas and has that irrational male self-confidence that tells you that everyone should hear them. And of course there are enough cheerleaders to give him the positive reinforcement he needs to keep going.
Oh hell no. Even if Vivek genuinely has all the bonafides, I'd want at least five years of him campaigning and all the leaks that follow before considering him for higher office. Some public office experience should be mandatory, but Money Talks... Yang loved all the attention but gave no ****s about the details managing, planning, or executing his circus show campaigns.
Why doesn't someone ask vivek, "WHO NOMINATED the current fbi" head that you think is so corrupt? Anytime you hear right wing trolls like @basso and others in real life cry about the fbi all you have to do is ask them one question.. Ask them who installed the current fbi head and you'll see their brains melt in real time. It's really fascinating. I recommend yall to try it with yall MAGA friends. It's hilarious watching someone's brain malfunction in real time.
Why is previous experience in public office a necessity? Lots of folks would love to see someone like Jon Stewart or Mark Cuban run.
