Nothing earth shattering. Berman said on his Sports Report, that contrary to other reports, Knicks officials did NOT come to meet with Hakeem Olajuwon today. And here something new: neither Fegan, nor Olajuwon were available to comment. According to the Chronicle, the Knicks had a conference call with Hakeem's group today, instead of flying down. They know they are a long shot! ------------------
Yeah...NY sports talk radio said that the Knicks realize that they have pretty much no shot of getting him so they called to see if he would even consider playing there if a S&T was worked out or if it was attractive enough to play in the Big Apple for a million.
