a lot can change before draft night. Last year at this time…. Everyone was thinking Jabari or Chet going first
Agreed. I even called my Aunt (who's a Spurs fan) and congratulated her but followed that up with I'm pissed off and miserable. She took pity on me. Shes good people.
Guys it's time to admit we're just never going to be relevant in the NBA, Jalen green will want out, Jabari will be a role player and we will be stuck in mediocracy for years.
I would say getting Jabari over Chet - to date - has been a blessing in disguise. The jury is still out on that one. Getting the 4th pick instead of Wembanyama is a kick in the balls and theres no way to spin that into a good thing unless you didn't want to have a family or sex that day.
Yeah, a post that pretends to offer a silver lining about this year's draft pick, and then does it by sh*tting on last year's draft pick LOL.
I can’t stand the amount of rationalization on here. There are just times you have to eat the **** sandwich you’ve been served. We missed out on a generational talent and we are stuck with the young bums that got us the worst record for the 3rd straight season. Period. There is no silver lining.
Why are you even a fan? You come onto this site and take a big dump with nearly every post on any thread, as if you're being more "real." What's the point?
I bet my left nut a 19 year old Wemby would get you one of the worst records still with this year's roster or last year's. 19 year olds with little muscle mass don't impact winning right away. You would be calling Wemby a bum. Hell keep that energy when the Spurs win less than 30 games this year unless Wemby immediately attracts high level vets this off-season.
Let's not start talking about Wemby when the Rockets just wasted two top 3 picks and STILL don't have even one franchise player on the roster. It's a bad look.
