I’m good with Amen at 6’7 vs Henderson Hornets & Portland will probably ask for KPJ or Tari to trade up and thats not worth it to me KPJ/Veteran Green/Veteran Amen/Cam? Jabari/Tari Sengun/Veteran Ime can work with that. KPJ and Amen can trade off point guard duties his first year and works on his shot. Harden comes back Amen comes of the bench his first couple years
Uh what? No draft pick was going to make an impact next year. Did you think we were going to land a veteran tonight lulz.
That is why they needed an NHL team and Houston Dynamo with more budget. More urgently than Wembanyama to be honest.
Rockets need to come out tomorrow and say they identify their 4th pick as the 1st.. Done, you are welcome Rockets org...
Oh, there will be. It's all guards and we already have a logjam with Harden rumored to return. NBADraft.net update has Portland taking Scoot with Dame and the Rockets taking Taylor Hendricks 6'9 215lb F/C with a Siakam comp. I'll admit i don't know this guy at all, but with Bari and Green-you;d think Scoot/Amen/Black are the only fits to start at PG. I've had Scoot/Miller/Amen/Black/Ausur in that order for almost the entire year, no idea Hendricks was supposed to be this high.
Really fuq......Wemby really attracts so many players to come play with him....not that Pop and Buford did not attract anyone.....
I was so ready to have (civil!) discussions for months over Wemby, or whether our Scoot is better than lil’ Scoot, or if Brandon Miller is a shooter or a SHOOTER… Guess we’ll take the fourth and call it a day. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Miller will drop to 4, Rockets will not have scouted him assuming he's gone but pick him anyway, we'll declare ourselves the real winners of draft night getting the 2nd best player and then... watch him struggle and make 2nd team All Rookie
Zion ended up in New Orleans as compensation for the Pelicans gearing up to trade their franchise player in AD to the Lakers…the league cares about the Lakers more than they do the trash Knicks We’re gonna act like it was just a coincidence that the Pelicans had the 8th worst record and the Lakers had the 11th worst record, but the Pelicans jumped up to the 1st pick and the Lakers up to 4th? It’s a coincidence that D-Rose is entering the draft, and the hometown Chicago Bulls jump up 8 spots in the lottery to get the 1st overall pick?
It's audited with teams in the room. A big4 audit firm is not going rig a sports draft and risk its reputation which it completely relies upon to exist as a business.
When it’s widely being reported that Lebron is seriously considering going back to Cleveland, this just miraculously happens? The Cavaliers continued their remarkable run Tuesday, winning the No. 1 pick in the NBA draft for the second straight year and third time in the past four. They moved up from the ninth spot despite just a 1.7 percent chance of winning the top selection. some real convenient and amazing coincidences
Hendricks has been mocked as high as #6 lately. I have not seen him at #4. That would be a reach. His profile is similar to Jabari's. Athletic, long, good-defensive three point shooter. Probably less shot creation upside. I don't think the Rockets will go for him, they usually seem to hew pretty close to the consensus and they seem to like high-ceiling scorers. But you never know.
San Antonio (and Austin if you wanna include them) is/are just not (a) major market/s. Houston's Metro area is still bigger than San Antonio and Austin's combined. San Antonio is, probably besides New Orleans and maybe Memphis, is probably the LAST place the NBA would want to have a transcendent star such as Wemby.
