I am hopeful someone in the organization is going the more moderate route and take a swing at serviceable PGs not costing that much. It does not make sense for both sides unless Houston has given up on letting young players develop into the PG postion.
Dude, it's not that bad! The Rockets have options. I felt this was in the works months ago. I would have loved#2 or #3 but we still have optio s.

I wouldn't trade #4 for either one. Amen Thompson has special talent. His vision, size, length and athletic ability are special. I like Derrick.Lively at #20. We need shot blocking and he offers just that.

[ "It's the icing on the cake." Of course, the cake is a key lime pie that fell into the back of a Bubba Gump Co. freezer in 2019 and was accidentally thawed during an electrical fire.
Rockets will land their savior PG in this draft he will fall to 20 His name is Jalen Hood Shafino JHS - just hits shots and y’all will love him.
Probably not the 4th but a couple assets should be packaged. I will reserve my judgments, prospects need too much time to develop these days.
"Obviously, everyone gets enamored with No. 1 or possibly two and three guys, but there’s tons of quality players. It’s a pretty top-heavy draft.” Considering what the Rockets ended up with in 21/22 at 2 and 3 and how they compare to their peers - i guess this is a sensible perspective.
Devastating result for the future of the team. This is a 3 player draft by all accounts and we get 4. We're still probably the worst team in the league. Gonna hand over a valuable pick to OKC. Just nightmare scenario.
This. I've been saying for a couple of weeks now I'd be happy with top four, because I honestly think Amen is every bit the prospect Miller is, and he plays at the greater position of need. Of course he has holes in his game, but as usual, so does everyone in this draft (outside of Wemby maybe). Obviously I wanted a top 2 pick, but Amen is a damn good consolation prize. If he's sitting there at 4, I hope the Rockets don't overthink it and take the BPA at what's been a huge position of need in the rebuild thus far.
that’s how u sound when you’re a kid hoping for a PS5 for Christmas, but what u ended up getting was a book and some socks give it up Stone, we got screwed nobody was enduring all these L’s hoping for Amen Thompson or Jarace Walker
Dumb post. When people say that a draft is a "# player draft" it has NEVER been true. Remember last year we were pissed we got pick 3 and had to "settle" for Banchero.
Giannis 15th , Kawhi 15th, Nikola Jokic 2nd Round, Joel Embiid 4th pick, Jayson Tatum 4th Pick Rockets must look abroad also Europe, Australia, Greece
