Lineup with Amen: Alpi 19pts /10 rbds / 6 assists Jabari 18 pts/8/ 1.5 blocks and 40% from 3s Eason 15pts/ 38% from threes only shooting corner 3s Green, 26pts /5/5 KPJ, 18pts/ 8 assists 6th man, Amen, 13pts/7 assists from the bench. He can be our GIddey with defense. These are all realistic numbers with the natural progression and potential they showed. I know the haters like trashing our guys because a 20 yr old isn't where a 25 year old vet is in his trajectory.
Amen, but that is subject to change. I haven't even seen a highlight of his yet so I don't know what I'm talking about.
I like Amen at #4, but I also like Cam Whitmore a lot. Besides Amen probably having highest upside in the draft outside of Wemby (and maybe Scoot), I think maybe it is easier to get a vet wing/SF in free agency. So I go with Amen. I'm not super opposed to Ausar or others either. I like most of the top 8 guys or so.
I would overpay to get Scoot too. Charlotte might just say "we're taking Scoot" and hang up on Stone though.
I think there are a bunch of people on this forum who haven't watched him play at all, they've just read a few snippets about him in the media and have a reflexive opinion that OTE is garbage so they must suck. Which, yes, OTE does have very bad competition, but we've seen the Thompson twins play against some better teams and their abilities translated just fine.
Way too early. I hope we lock down some trade up options and some trade down options, but Wemby, Scoot, Miller and Amen are all really good prospects as a backstop through 4
Right now Amen, subject to change as I'm still scouting the others. But I expect people to be hungover from losing Wemby right now and see the talent he has later likely, but he has a lot of other skills and talents to bring to the game.
