Don't know how much it means...or if it means anything at all...... but I did see Damon Jones Yesterday at the Comets/Fever game sittin front and center and gettin great treatment from the comets staff............ So it did give me a little hope like CD is not just sittin on his hands lettin every free agent in the universe sign elsewhere or make some sort of trade or something Also Cat showed up and every one gave him a very nice round of applause....not a standin ovation.....but I must admit I kind of hated when Dana Jackson announced him as Orlando Magic Guard "Cuttino Mobley"........It still didn't sound right to me BUT..on the other hand I don't think I'll mind at all next year when I Hear HoustonRockets Guard Tracy Mcgrady........ All in all it was good seein Damon at the game.......it was also sad seein Cat...I did always like him......
I agree. I don't miss SF3 in the slightest, but I have a soft spot for Cat. I wonder if there would be a way to work a 3 team deal to get him back, shipping Mo Taylor in the process.
I saw Cuttino and Moochie at the Galleria on Friday, he was in a watch store and i went in and told him that i would miss and have enjoyed watchin him play and he said thanks and that he appreciated that, and that he would miss here as well. Sorry i dont have any pictures because umm yeah who takes a camera to a mall...well at least i dont, but anyways just thought i should let yall know
This might not mean a lot actually because he is from Houston. In fact, last year or the beginning of this year, I saw Robert Horry at the Galleria. Didn't think he was going to come to Houston because he prolly did. People tend to stick around their hometown. I work with Nick van Exel's uncle and he says he wanted to come back to Houston but we all know how that turned out.
I think it has alot to do with him being cut in training camp before. Obviously management knows what he is capable of and doesn't want to make a hasty decision. I applaud CD & Co. taking their time to make a decision.

If nick van exel doesn't mind coming off the bench and playing instant offence for us while we trade mo tay for a defensive Center/Power Forward then I wouldn't mind having him come in.
