Like I said kinda distasteful on how folks are reacting to a Rockets great.
Man literally broke so many franchise records and we have folks reacting like the man is a bum who did nothing for us when he wore the Rockets uniform.

We been spoiled by harden excellence for quite some time and folks take it for granted. After 3 years of being sht and directionless with the kpj pg experiment I welcome harden back happily.

We were never mediocre with Harden, and folks with the ring or bust mentality are dumb as fk. Don't b like those dumb@$$es who prefer watching losing team ball over winning

Really the whole conversation is kind of strange, considering what he has around him in Philly. But if he wanted to come to Houston for the money i would say its up to the Owner decision, i mean see if he take a discount so you can bring in at least another star and great role player with the rest of the Cap they have. That way you have some great young players and stars + vets.

And now u hate him for wanting to come back?
I didn't watch any games of harden when he left maybe highlights, but I still supported harden for his contribution to our franchise. U figured folks would b more happy he wants to come back and play for us when he still has something left in the tank

If he took a discount and took pride in getting these boys to the play in/playoffs and made a effort to teach all our starters how to play ball. He needs to train KPJ to take over after him if we don’t take Henderson

If he makes it all about him coming back then honestly **** him. If he makes it about leading the next generation the I’ll take him

Ime and Harden would be boss level for development

    Only if
    • the contract is short (2 years, maximum 3 years)
    • it's not a max deal, but a bargain deal
    • it means getting rid of KPJ at the same time
Overall, I have changed my mind and am very skeptical.

But it also depends a bit on whom we will be able to draft. E.g., if we get Wemby, I'd be more inclined to add Harden. If we get Scoot Henderson, I would be less inclined. Etc.

The board hasn't been the same either. Now look how active it is with the haters coming out of their hole at the mere mention of harden.

Couldn't stomach watching us be sht but nah no to harden.

I agree. This should be a 100% Ime decision. If the contract parameters are okay with Stone and Tilman, fine. However, Ime has to make the final basketball decision. Personally I think Harden COULD be a great mentor. I also think Jalen and Jabari have the killer instinct which Harden doesn't seem to have. That is something you can't teach. You either have it or you don't. So if he and Ime can teach the kids how to play great Basketball then I would have no qualms giving Harden a 2-3 year max deal. As long as Harden is buying it to developing the young guys.

Sure, it does. Who is giving him a max? And why wouldn't he want play in Houston with no state income tax for $10M less than somewhere like Charlotte or Washington.

Wrong. Harden went against better competition and has more accolades as a Rocket.

Depends who else is coming along! Harden by himself for the max… iffy at best!!

Now if Udoka wants him, without being pressured by Tilly then that’s a different story!! Our new coach has got to get the players and coaching staff that he thinks are going to work best under him!!

    Go Rockets!!!
