When was the last time these many coaches were sacked in a 2 month span? When was the last time An NBA star player is holding a gun to a camera twice? Not once but twice. When was the last time an aging star named Harden is out looking for a max or more than max and multiple years? After vanishing in an elimination game. When was the last time Jokic was this strong in the Playoffs? Feel free to add.
I def didn’t see the Lakers beating golden state in a game 7, but boy how sweet it is. Steve Kerr whining about flopping. Music to my ears. Now let’s hope the Nuggets crush the Lakers.
I would say this is still the playoffs. So, I would say this has been a crazy POSTSEASON. It was wild to see the lower sees win half of the 1st round series'. And now the #7 seed and #8 seeds are in the conference finals. So, it wasn't some fluke. The craziest thing for me is seeing a team that was 13th seed deep into the season going to the conference finals and people think they have a legitimate chance at a championship. People will point to the team being different. But, if we're honest they just got a bunch decent role players - it's not like anyone they brought in is a huge game changer.
The huge game changer was what they removed(Westbrook) not what they brought in. That and they have stayed healthy so far.
For sure. Westbrook is a toxic player. And the Clipper fans are saying they want to sign him because their stars can't stay healthy. Go for it, let's see how many franchises can Westbrook collapse?
He wasn't that bad for the Clippers but his energy when Maxey isn't on the floor or doesn't have it would have been nice.
I mean they traded one non-starting quality role player and got back 3 starting quality role players. Pretty significant change. Stars or not... if Morey was offered a 3 for 1 role player trade when he had Yao and Tracy... would've made the team much much better. When you've got that foundational superstar piece, the most important thing is getting the role players right.
