Suns are going to hire whoever Durant and Booker say to hire. I will say, Nurse would be a good coach for Ayton and Booker but not for Durant.

If they hire Budenholzer, they may as well start looking to trade Durant and Booker now.

I don’t know the other guys so cannot comment.

A good coach for this team would actually be Ty Lue, but he already has a job. Rumor is that the Bucks want him bad.

Always remember, James Jones is boys with LBJ. LBJs boy is CP3. CP3 is former head of the NBAPA. All of these are reasons why he got that deal at his age.

    This happens a lot.

Ayton should have been allowed to leave; that is on Suns management, who foolishly believed that they could flip him for picks or some BS. Yet when the deal for Durant came up, they never offered him as an option. That tells me that they intended to fire Williams regardless, unless he won a title.

Any white players on the roster better start looking for new teams if he gets the job.

He obviously doesn't think the white man is good at basketball.

James Jones never wanted to include Bridges in the deal. The Suns got a new owner and he stepped in at the last moment and pushed the deal through by including Bridges.

    Sound familiar ?

Now, the reports are that Ishbia is the one that fired Monty. Apparently, Ishbia, with consultation from Isaiah Thomas, is acting as GM with James Jones acting in a minor role.

I think this trade might actually be worse than our Westbrick fiasco. At least in theory we were prolonging our championship window by sending out CP3 who looked done at that point. Phoenix sent Bridges and Johnson, guys entering their prime and basically the same as Booker, for one shot at a chip.

    (Oh my)

Ishiba is tight with Isiah. Supposedly Isiah was his basketball idol growing up. But damn... talk about not qualified :D.

He's more hands on than Cuban. Notice in all these news, few named the actual general manager (James Jones) as the name looking for a new HC, instead jumping straight to owner. Like Tilman's early years, Ishiba's very very public facing.
