Jokic vs AD will be a great 1 on 1 matchup.

iirc, Jokic wasn't very good in the bubble against the Lakers. Lots of change in 3 years, though.

I worry about about what the refs might do to Denver. Especially if Boston beats the 76ers. No way NBA doesn’t prefer Lakers vs Celtics with Lebron vs Tatum passing of the torch narrative.

Fakers started the season badly and ended up in the WCF.

    Nice turnaround.

Jokic is the most humble down to earth superstar ever. I want him to win it.

God I really want to see the Nuggets destroy the Lakers. But since I want this to happen and the Nuggets aren’t in LA, I am sure that the League won’t let this happen.

LA can win this if AD can dominate. Show us you top 75.

You haven't been watching if you don't think Davis has been the dominant player on the Lakers. Really since he got on the team, it's just that now it's clearer than ever. I don't know if that makes him top 75, though.

The Lakers will take this series. There will be the normal ref BS and a key injury. The injury will be huge because the Lakers will need to offset Denver's home-court advantage and altitude and Denver is just as deep as the Lakers.

AD is easily top 10 PF ever talent-maybe top 5 off the top of my head. The only thing holding him back from the all time ranking is injury. He was plenty consistent in NO and he and Boogie were well on their way to dominating. AD himself plus his surroundings have been in constant injury depletion his whole career and the one time they got months of rest after a regular season-the Lakers won the bubble. Same is repeating now with clearly AD being the biggest key to the Lakers winning-but of course the LeBron stat formula he plays with will get him his FMVP or it'll be popular pick like Kobe over Gasol.

AD has the 13th best individual game(game score metric) regular season game of all time. Another 2 games in the top 50 and 1 at 52. He's got 2 Top 75 best individual playoff performances.
AD has the 4th highest career regular season PER just behind LeBron.
AD has the 5th best career Playoff PER of all time right behind LeBron.
AD is 4th all time Playoff career WS/48 just behind LeBron.

IF AD could stay healthy for a full season-with a great team of his own-he'd be an MVP easily. He's KG level good but with a more fragile body and history of teammates also being hurt when he needed them.

Let's be real here. LeBron has played with more in prime/near prime help than possibly any all time great in the history of the NBA. What followed those other all time greats? The same devaluing process that's happened to AD. Every single one of them and their careers and talent is **** on to make LeBron appear bigger and better. How LeBron continues to be the goat recruiter is beyond me because it seems like a raw deal to have all of your talent and abilities diminished so that LeBron can take all the credit. Stars who play with LeBron have to sacrifice their stats and play style and those things lead to the diminishing narratives such as "inconsistency." AD has had maybe 1.5 bad game this playoffs and he still dominated defensively in the games he didn't dominate the glass or scoring. The whole notion that LeBron makes teammates better has been the most overblown myth about LeBron's career along with "he can defend 1-5!"

Joker vs AD sounds like a lot of fun.

I don’t know if the NBA will allow the Nuggets to beat Lakers tho. Having the Lakers in the Finals with Lebron at age 38 seems like a fantasy and so much money being made for everyone.

I do hope it’s a clean refereed series and whoever simply plays the best wins, whether that’s the Lakers or the Nuggets.

I still can’t believe the Lakers are in the WCF after a terrible regular season and then got lucky with the trade and the new pieces they got after unloading Westbrook.

What answer does LA have Jokic's passing? This particular Denver squad is incredibly deep with excellent roleplayers, and Jokic will hit them with dimes every time LA sends anyone to help against him.

Denver should win however we know the NBA wants LBJ in the finals against the Celts.

Has he really? He played with wade who was certainly past his prime when lebron got there and by year 3 wasn’t even allstar level anymore. Davis is great, but mostly injured. Kyrie? Lolololol. Bosh was a good player certainly, but never a top 10-12 guy.
