I would be surprised. I think the Lakers should have learned over the last couple years that what they need around Lebron is shooting and athleticism. LeBron is now the old slow vet, they don't need more of that. And, the Suns will likely be seeking what the Lakers got back in the Westbrook trade - multiple rotation players. So, probably not a match. I would expect them to work a deal getting end of the rotation guys from a cap strapped team like the Clippers and routing CP3 to a 3rd team with cap space like the Rockets.
They need to move CP3 and Ayton for some good wing players and a new starting PG. Trading for kd depleted their depth so they need to restock this summer to have one or two more runs at it while kd can still do something. I’m sure the new owner will be aggressive trying to retool the roster.

Don't even know why the Lakers would even entertain a CP3 trade. They were lucky to get some depth back from the Westbrook trade. It just sounds like LA = hot destination or there's someone who really wants to recreate the Nash/Kobe/Dwight team.
