A lot of this doesn't make any sense. SGA with the 10th seed Thunder as a 1st Teamer but Harden not there at all? Luka didn't sniff the playoffs and on the first team? Didn't Harden get a 3rd team for having the Rockets in 8th one year? Good lord wtf is this list. How is SGA over Deearon Fox or Steph Curry? Whole thing is weird. Jalen literally does what SGA did next year and he wouldn't *dream* of a 1st Team All NBA selection.
How many times has a player scoring over 30 been left off All-NBA? May be one of those "unwritten rule" things about SGA and Lillard.
Lillard is a trash superstar who was never ever a top 5 player in any season but gets infinite respect. Probably the most overrated player of this generation.
No one has ever called Klay an MVP. Lillard's MVP narrative is always in the background. Klay is good complementary piece who has arguably even carried Curry to some championships during the ref collusion era.
I wonder how many times the league leader in assists was left off a team? To clarify, i really don't know. Maybe Mark Jackson?
klay is gonna make the HOF and was talked about as a top 75 guy despite having basically 1, MAYBE 2 seasons where he had an allstar level season, and was never a top 3 player on a title team
Chris Paul averaged 15 and 11 last year and made All-NBA 3rd Team…16 and 9 the year before that and made 2nd Team Harden averages 21 and 11 for the team with the 3rd best record in the league and isn’t even close to making any team it’s astounding how much the media and voters hate him
I'll say it time and time again, having those special moments in the playoffs just makes the media make up these narratives in their heads, despite the lack of success overall besides that one fluke run in the WCF. He's had two cool game winners (and both sent the teams home).
Lillard and Doncic making it (Doncic first team?!) proves the voter bias/agenda against him without a doubt. Harden not making it in 2016 is utterly indefensible now.
