The Heatles were a Super team. The Lakers had a Super team. The OKC had a near Super team with tons of young MVP talent. The GSW had a historic team but their names were not great at every position. The Celtics had 4 All Stars and people still would not call them Super. Just win the god darn championship instead of worrying about the Super team tag. 1. Aging Harden 2. All Star Brown 3. Unproven talent 4. The West is still a lot tougher and more balanced out than the East. Wembanyama has to actually play 70-80 games instead of his 40 games in Paris.
Im fine with everyone else except harden. I can't go through the heartache of Harden on this team again. I hope he is using us as leverage.
I was not talking super team but rather using your quote hehe. Sengun will not be getting shots up ...... Boston would not want KPJ and KJ non defenders in that package and meh on Jabari. Typical value on one team, borderline not valued on another team. Boston type of prey are Spurs or ex Spurs like Keldon Johnson, Vassell, Sochan, Pöltl Preying on Milwaukee players if they implode.
This thread is ridiculous. You want to give bring back the guy who couldn’t get along with any of the previous superstars we brought in for him, 3 years older and fatter, pair him with one other seasoned player (Brown) and a bunch of kids, and call it a super team? For fudge sake man!!!
Sorry both of your suggestions are incorrect! We need to trdae SENDUN, PORTER TATE. NIX, maybe also Christopher starting Five HARDEN GREEN MARTIN WEMBY SMITH SECOND Five Washington REAVES MURRAY EASON HACHIMAURA ....................Y
Sorry, but you're all completely wrong. We need to trade the entire team for DMo. He wins 8 straight championships by himself.
Tired coming on here like always hearing giving Harden the max. Do people realize when a player leaves he usually never comes back. Rockets are turning the page on new chapter. Folks think 34 year old Harden gonna carry young Green and Segun to playoffs. . Wemby on the squad for sure. Pffff. Bunch of pipe dreams and desperation for winning around here and constant Harden Homers pipe dreams and getting #1 pick like everything just gonna fall in place when you know pistons will draft Wemby and MILLER WILL BE ON THE ROCKETS AND BE THE BEST CHUCKER FOR THE NEXT TANK. GREEN AND SEGUN W/ MILLER = ✓ 30 wins next year ....
All i'm gonna say is that Brown doesn't worth Jabari, KJ, KPJ and 4 picks. Might as well give them Texas. Brown is good but people overrate him a lot i think.
Even in the extremely low likelihood that OP's roster became a reality, I would not call that roster a super team in the slightest. A super team should have 2-3 elite top 10-15 guys playing in their prime. That squad would likely have zero depending on your take on Harden. Brown is not of that caliber despite what CF posters want him to be. And Wemby will still be extremely young next season. At best, I could see that squad overachieving and winning 45-50 games. But definitely not a super team. And can we chill on the pipe dreams for a second? Just a reminder that there's a 14% chance at the top pick. I know we're excited for the lottery, but it's one more week and then we can start talking draft possibilities.
If you sign Harden and were okay moving Sengun Our 2023 draft pick The Nets picks Jabari Eason You could probably land 2 or 3 of the following: Brown Siakim Bridges Markenan Gobert Turner Is this a super team? Harden Green Brown Siakim Turner
Lmao, then they have effectively rendered those 3 years of tanking useless. I know they get value back but the youth is gone. And no, Green is just a scorer, they would need better glue guys.
I just don't see a reasonable path to sign Brown. Perhaps I'm wrong. But he's going to get a supermax, which means he's almost certainly going to sign with Boston. As such, we really could only land him in a sign-and-trade, and that could only happen where (1) he demands it and (2) we overpay. I mean, I can't imagine a scenario where we could sign an extended Brown WITOUT giving up our top pick this year, plus some. Harden + Siakam seems much more likely.
Brown is a top 10 player and should be ALL NBA PLAYER this year. Harden is showing in the playoffs he is still a top 20 player and Wemby will be a elite player in his first year
