We're not drafting Miller even if he's available when we pick, dude... unless he somehow falls to #6

    This 100%

And the fact we hired a championship caliber coach as well is just a bonus

    Perfect situation for Wemby

Along with our history of Bigs

but couldnt one make the argument that they'd wanna give him over to Pops? I mean thats the team that has always been at the forefront of international players... their history of bigs - who were actually coached by Pops... Let the revered coach go out coaching a generational talent...
Hou vs SA as a market... idk...
    jus sayin... lol

Hope you're right about that one

I just don't think they will draft Miller in the top 3 regardless. Doesn't fit their past patterns. It's possible they could take him if he's available at #4, but I don't think he will be.

Not to mention the league has already given the spurs 4 championships the last 25 years, they are good for now.

Luka and Sengun success (their teams won) in contrast to Wembys failure (his teams lose) is concerning for me. That said, you can't pass him up if you get the #1.

I dont think Victor will be a bust, but I do think that he is being overrated as a prospect. People have these crazy expectations for for him his first couple years.

I do not think that he will perform as well as Sengun has. Maybe a higher ceiling long term but I dont think he is an allstar next year.

How silly of you to make such a statement !!!! So far many experts have stated that he is going to be the greatest #1 Draft pick in the History of the NBA. Certainly Sengun is no where near being any wear near being in the same league. I do not expect them to be on the same team, if we are lucky to get the first pick. Y

In all seriousness, I would love to have them both, of course.

I could see Sengun becoming somewhat similar to Jokic and Wembanyama becoming similar to a Ralph Sampson/Kevin Durant hybrid.

But I do think based on historical experience with players of Wemby's height/body type, chances are that Sengun will have the longer/more productive career.

If used properly, I could see Sengun producing 19/10/6 with a three, a steal and a block per game next season, with a .570 FG %, whereas I think Wemby will be more likely at 13/8/1 in his rookie season, with 2 blocks per game, and with a much more pedestrian FG % (.450).

At his peak, I would expect Wemby to maybe average 22/10/2. Sengun will always be the better passer.

There's random yet suppressed short videos with the intention of showcasing this kid's strengths and none of his weaknesses. For one thing he did withdraw from Tony Parker's team because his body couldn't handle the rigors of the most elite league in France and suffered a string of injuries. Then there's the fact that he is less than a 30 percent 3 point shooter despite his highlights indicating otherwise. Very risky indeed
