His seeming awareness of his lack of skill is his only positive attribute. If he went out there and played with the delusional confidence of Josh Christopher then he would be even worse.
If Nix could score at all he would at least be a playable third stringer. But uh, 34% on field goals isn't gonna cut it. Pick up a new starting point guard, move KPJ to backup combo guard, and let TyTy be the third stringer/different look backup IMO.
Nix is a strange case … MVP caliber in G league but can’t make a layup in the NBA. Should probably find a niche overseas where he can play bully ball
Posting Skinny Harden because if he hopes to be effective in his mid- to late-30s he'll need to ressurect this version of himself Spoiler
Don't know why, but the longer this thread stays up the more happy I'm every time I see it... Spoiler Go Rockets!!! ....... ....... .......
Definitely gotta keep in mind we only have a 27.4% chance of getting one of those two guys. The odds of getting either #5 or #6 are nearly twice as high. We should all be prepared for the high chance that the team ends up drafting one of this group: Jarace Walker Cam Whitmore Ausar Thompson Anthony Black Taylor Hendricks Cason Wallace All these guys are floating around #5 through #10 with different analysts ranking them differently. A trade up (or back) is always possible, but those trades this close to the top of the draft are historically pretty rare, and seem to be difficult to pull off. I would definitely try to trade up and get Scoot if I were the Rockets, but don't hold your breath.
