    The issue aren't the laws but rather organized crime rings that take advantage of desperate people. Shoplifting isn't something that is new, but what is new is the organized aspect of it. But target and cvs are smart, they make sure it gets a lot of press and know how to put pressure on local gov't and police departments.

    Trust me, if they were such huge losses, these companies would find a way to catch these people. They make millions of dollars per store in profit.

    I understand you don’t believe me, it’s not a coincidence all this looting , crime , homelessness , drugs happened in one city.

    CVS, Walgreens, Louis Vutton, Target make the news
    It’s the small businesses that leave that don’t make the news. It’s gone down hill fast, it’s not up to the companies to solve problems that they didn’t create

    Has any other CVS stores in other cities declare a state of emergency due to crime?
