Lol at the league "nerfing" Harden.... Harden nerfs himself in the 2nd round of the playoffs every year. Refs don't respect him because he has never done anything other than choke in the playoffs. If your boy was so good you wouldn't need excuses.... You wouldn't have to put it on the league, or the refs. It wouldn't be on injuries or being unlucky. It wouldn't be on any of the things you mention defending him. Only dudes that don't come through need excuses, losers need excuses. You know who don't need excuses thou? Curry. There is no excuse in the universe that can ever put Harden and Curry as equals.
You just don’t believe content/circumstances ever matter? Doesn’t matter what the refs do, who’s injured, nothing matters?
Well.duhh if there was a excuse needed to put them in the same universe than they would both be losers from your logic since only losers need excuses?
You just don't believe that perhaps Butler or Curry are just built different? Injuries are going to happen, there are many things that can not be controlled. MJ did not win the chip every year. Neither did LeBron or Curry. My question is what do you think Harden does this next series? Do circumstances only pile up against Harden?
Harden isn’t gonna do anything in this series, they’re gonna get smoked. Putting butler and curry in the same sentence is weird though, butler has done nothing. I think circumstances apply to everyone, and everything should be viewed in context. if harden had the kd/green/klay warriors and won a bunch of titles, and steph played on the rockets and won 0 I wouldn’t look at them differently.
Yeah, he’s not going to do anything....except drop 45 and beat the Celtics without Embiid. Good call.
Absolutely unexpected performance from James. Credit to him he balled out. I wish this was more of a consistent thing for him though instead of one offs. If he has a great series and leads them to a win against Boston he can rewrite his legacy.
That was so unexpected, especially at his age, and after not being able to make layups for the entire series against the Nets. Props to the old man
