People really just do not realize how little it impacts us and actually how much we rely on them in our economy which runs on their backs. Why is it that restaurant service is so bad right now? Why is it that if you need work done on your house that it’s damn near impossible to get good work soon? We need an easy green card system and we need to punish companies that hire without them so we can make sure they contribute not only to the needed workforce but also to taxes.

All of this from the right.. if I can be honest… is because they are so afraid of them moving in next door and slumming up the Neighborhood. When in reality your neighborhood would look way better and have more value if good workers were easier to hire at a good price. Your restaurants could actually stay in business with cooks in the back able to hold 12 minute ticket times instead of the hour+ it’s taking nowadays.
